We use would like or ’d like to say politely what we want, especially when making offers and requests.
Would you like a biscuit with your coffee?
I’d like the Margarita pizza, please.

We use Do you like…? to ask about preferences in general. We don’t use Do you like …? to make offers or requests.


Utilizamos would like o ‘d para decir educadamente lo que queremos, especialmente cuando estamos ofreciendo o solicitando algo.
¿Quisiera una galleta con su café?
Quisiera una pizza Margarita, por favor.


Usamos Do you like…? Para preguntar sobre preferencias en general. No usamos Do you like…? para ofrecer ni solicitar algo.
